backOn Monday, 8 November 2010 at the invitation of CPE, 10 of our members attended a Focus Group Discussion at Level 2, Staff Centre Building, Singapore Polytechnic organised by CPE Industry Development and facilitated by Mr Lee Kwok Cheong, Chief Executive Officer, SIM Global Education and Mr Chew Hua Seng, CEO, Raffles Education Corp who are members of CPE working groups in shaping the industry blueprint for the Private Education sector.
Our members were given an opportunity to discuss their views on the current problems of promoting Singapore education , the effect of the new EDUTRUST scheme, its limitations and the effect of the scheme on student pass application procedures, especially the effect of the "PROVISIONAL EDUTRUST Certification" on international students. The discussion being very fruitful and we may see future invitations for more such discussions.
